Located in the heart of Chinatown, Masjid Jamae (Chulia) welcomes hundreds of tourists and visitors every day. As an educational Masjid, we provide an enriching experience for both Muslims and non-Muslims through guided tours, Islamic information sharing, and constructive dialogues on faith and social thought.

Guided Tours & Dawah
Our dedicated Officer guides visitors and the public through the Masjid, explaining the purpose of a Masjid, Islamic practices, and community activities using informative notes and literature.
Islamic Information Gallery
Launched in March 2006, our revitalized entrance foyer and ancillary hall feature interactive gallery spaces designed to serve the learning needs of international and local visitors.
Masjid Etiquette & Dress Code
To respect the sanctity of the Masjid, all visitors are kindly asked to observe proper Masjid etiquette while visiting our premises.
Appropriate Attire
Visitors must wear modest clothing that covers the aurat (body parts required to be covered in Islam). Short pants, short skirts, and sleeveless tops are not permitted.
Complimentary Robes
Respectful robes are provided free of charge at the Masjid entrance. Please ask our on-site staff if you need assistance putting one on.
We Warmly Welcome Group Visits!
We welcome school groups, community delegations and travel groups who wish to learn more about Islam, the Masjid and the history of Singapore's Muslim community.
Group tours are arranged by appointment. Please make a booking in advance so that our team can prepare for your visit and provide the best possible experience.
